Waves ever reaching for the shore, carrying treasures, both living and long gone. sand; sun warmed, soft and white, with sea shells scattered about. sometimes yellow and cold as night. The sun makes the water glimmer like gems, in and out of the waves dolphins play and dance. Further down in the midnight waters, whales sing to one another. In the coral reefs fish dance about; some in schools, some swimming in lonely solice. That odd sound we make when we are happy. That bubbling sound comes when we find something funny. Laughter is contagous. We see others laughing, smiling we want to join in soon enough we are laughing so hard our sides hurt. Laughter has a power all its own. It brightens our faces, makes us years younger and we enjoy it. Laughter has been said to be medicine for the heart. I completely agree. Music is a wonder. Music can stir the soul bring tears to the eyes. and if the beat is catchy enough feet start tapping. It has been said that music is poetry for the ears. Some say music comes from the heart. I say music comes from the soul. The soul composes music, that the mind and hands later pick up. After a time the music is written, played for others. Other souls hear the music, send happy chills through the listeners. The music from the soul is always something unique, for no soul is the same but all can appreciate the music.

Small and innocent. Eyes filled with wonder and hope. Soft skin, silken curls, button nose. Trusting, helpless this little treasure. It needs more than food and clothing.
